Drama, Drama, Drama

This was the weekend from H E double hockey sticks.  I have tried on several occasions to get along with my new employee but it just will not work.  It has gotten so bad that it is affecting my health.  My only solution is prayer. I prayed away my last terrible boss and she finally left me alone so maybe it will work for this one.

I have been resting all weekend wondering how and why this keeps happening to me...what am I doing that keeps landing me in the same place,  I am really just tired of it.  I promise this will be the last time that I go through this...maybe I should just be my own boss again

It's been too long

So much is happening in my life that I don't know where to begin.  The kids are doing great...just being kids.  Andrew is going through some growing pains literally.  His body is having one of those growth spurts that he experienced when he was 9 and he is complaining that everything is hurting.  It'd difficult when your child is having an issue and you can't control it and make it better.  We just have to work through it.  Kailah is doing fine but getting a little too lazy for my liking.  I have to get a handle on that joker.

It seems that basketball has taken over our lives and I'm worried that Kailah maybe left out.  I really have work hard finding things for her to do.  I talked to Tim and she is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at the MIT.  At first she said NO she would not do it but now she is asking me to listen to her practice.  So I know she really wants to do it.

More to follow...

Today we are out for the ice storm and for some reason I just can't get going.  I am glad schools were closed because I didn't have the energy to get myself up much less get the kids ready to go to school.

Kailah wants to make ice pops...need to look on food network to get some idea of how to make them. Andrew had disappeared into the basement to play his games for one more day...not sure if he will have practice tonight but Michael is going to have to deal with that.

Speaking of practice it brings me to our new AAU team.  We are no longer associated with DC Assault, we are now Maryland's Finest.  So far it seems like an ok organization they gave us shoes for the boys this weekend and we are supposed to get sweat suits, bags, slippers, warmup shirts and some other stuff.  This is actually much better than we ever got treated with DC Assault because they never gave us anything.  Everything our kids ever had was paid for by us the parents.

We played the other DC Assault team where three of our old players went to and it was not a good experience.  We lost by about 5 points but the parents fell apart.  It was a lot of yelling mainly by two parents but it made it bad for everybody even the kids.  We  almost lost one of our good players because our coach just got frustrated in dealing with the parent, but with a lot of talking he reconsidered his initial postion of letting the child leave the team.  We made it through that but we still have a way to go before we get back to the team we once were.

Andrew is doing really well with his basketball! More to come on that front
